The Carondelet Family Literacy Program, in conjunction with the Board of Education, offers courses to adults in order to improve their reading and math skills and to prepare for GED testing. The Family Literacy Program also offers a New Immigrants Program to teach English as a second language (ESL).
The Carondelet Family Literacy Program has approximately 100 participants annually, and assists participants in accomplishing a variety of personal goals. The program also provides encouragement toward job placement and tutoring for special students with participants ranging from young adults to senior citizens.
